"Neil and I have been corresponding back and forth for a few years. This summer the timing was right to schedule AgieVision training here in the USA from Neil / CNC Total Solutions.
I am a one-man tool shop, specializing in W-EDM, I have a AGIE Classic 2S Gold Edition, with over 10 years W-EDM experience there is still a lot to be learned.
Neil's experience with AgieVision era machines is excellent, his understanding of the AgieVision Control along with programming using PEPS / OPTICAM was exactly the right fit for my shop. His mechanical / maintenance understanding on AGIE machines was equally excellent, it resolved a lot of concerns I had previously. My machine was in a better condition following the time spent with Neil. Surprisingly Neil being from the UK, he has a very good connection with one outstanding AGIE USA service engineer, who I have personally worked with in the past also, a lot of good information was passed back and forth with excellent end results.
His methods of teaching are understandable to follow, and the hands-on time I had, with his supervision, is personally the best type of training for me to retain the information long term. He followed a outline best suited to train my weak spots and what was suitable for the type of work I do. Neil is very efficient with his use of time, I felt nothing was wasted.
The training payoff came quite quickly for me, the 4-axis training I received suited some tooling I had to erode for my main customer, the right end result, new confidence in 4-axis programming !
Aside from all the technical expertise, Neil is a totally likable personality and certainly a person worth being associated with, thanks Neil !

"Please accept my reference for CNCTotalSolutions concerning EDM training. My business, Dynamic Systems Engineering, is a CNC job shop serving multiple industries including aerospace, medical and computer. Recently we acquired an Agie Challenge wire EDM.
After getting the machine installed and powered up I thought that I was ready to make parts. I quickly realized that the AgieVision control is different. With years of experience programming other CNC mills, lathes, grinders, etc. using standard “G” code I thought I should be able to figure this out. Many, many hours later with little to show for my efforts I decided to get help. I contacted Agie directly and inquired about training. My own experience with Wire EDM included 6 different models of Mitsubishi, 5 models of Charmilles, a Makino Duo, and some older Fanuc and Japax machines. However, no one in our Company had any experience with Agie. After discussing on-site training options with AgieCharmilles in the U.S., our Company President contacted CNC Total Solutions. "We were complete 'Wire Erosion Virgins' & having purchased a second hand machine that was giving us problems, we were in desperate need of expert guidance in all aspects of programming, operating & maintaining the machine.
